He looked at her silencly. He felt the rain on his skin, how the rain drops slowly merge with each other and wet his shirt. How often must they have sit here, next to each other, thinking about the future, reminding the other about the past or just remaining silence. Could this be the end? After all this time? But that’s, what she have meant. What is there left for him to say, when that’s what she is thinking about them. So he looked her in her beautiful eyes, just one last time. When he could not have her, then he at least wanted to be able to rember her eyes, the most beautiful ones he’d ever seen. And so he left into the dark, rainy night.
