Self made hamburger

To make hamburger you need to make the bread (buns) and the meat (patty). It takes some time to make the buns at home, but they taste really good, so it is totally worth it!

For 6 buns you need:
250 g wheat flour (type 405)
150 ml milk
40g butter
1 egg
1 table spoon dry yeast
a bit salt
2 table spoon sugar
if you want: sesam as decoration

You mix sugar and dry yeast into the milk and let it rest for some time. Put flour, butter, egg and salt in a bowl. Put the milk mix also into the bowl and make a dough out of it. Put a weat fabric onto the bowl and let the dough rest for one hour. Then mix the dough again and make 6 balls out of it and put sesam on top of the balls. Now they need to bake approx. 15 minutes at 200 degress in the ofen.
You are also able to put the dough into a freezer. Just put each dough ball into one plastic bag. The defrosted dough balls must then bake in the ofen as written above.

For 6 pattys you need:
500 g hamburger meat (beed ground meat)
1 onion
2 eggs
80 g butter
1 tea spoon mustard
salt, pepper

Cut the onion in small pieces. Melt the butter. Mix the eggs. Now put all the ingredients together. Make 6 flat pattys out of it. Make this pattys really, really flat!! Now you put the pattys for min. 3 hours into the freeser. After that joint or grill the pattys.

Now you have pattys and the bun, you just need some salad, tomatoes, cucumber (or anything you like), some ketchup and mayonnaise and perhaps some cheese or other ingredients to stack your self-made hamburger!
