In Germany you can buy softcakes: Small, round cakes with jelly filling and chocolate on top. I found and tried a recipe for them and show you my edited version of it:
For approx. 16 cupcakes you need:
130 g flour
1 jam jar (orange)
110 g sugar
1/2 table spoon vanilla extract (or you can take 1 package vanilla sugar and only 100 g normal sugar)
juice of one orange
100 g chocolate (50 percent cacao)
First mix the eggs with the sugar until all sugar is in a swivet and you get a foamy mass. Now add flour, the orangw juice and the vanilla extract and mix everything until you have a dough.
Put the dough equally onto a baking tray. It must cook 15 minutes at 180 degree in a pre-heated oven.
Let the dough cool down for a few minutes. Take a coffee cup and blank the dough in round pieces. Apply the organge jelly on each of the dough pieces. Let the chocolate melt in a water bath and apply the melted chocolatr on each of the dough pieces with the chocolate.
