“If two people believe in something, really believe, anything, even the impossible is possible”
“Yes, some memories are precious and we need to hang on to them. but Emily Dickinson wrote ‘Forever is composed of nows’ and she’s right. If we root ourselves too deeply in the past we’ll miss what’s right in front of us.”
Henry Morgan – Forever
Sometimes dreams become reality. Sometimes reality is even more perfect than any dream could be. Sometimes all bad things in life are really meant to happen for some reason. Perhaps they are even necessary to create those perfect situations. 🙂
What if you never wanted less and find yourself in a place, where you get more? When you get more than what you thought was possible?
“Nothing’s gonna change destiny. Whatever’s meant to be will work out perfectly.”
Glee – Keep Holding On (Original: Avril Lavigne)
… the perfect thing was there the whole time…. just right under your nose? And what if you never noticed it, since you stopped believing, that it would be possible to find. No, you even stopped believing that it even exists. So, believe in your dreams. ‘Cause sometimes, dreams can become true. But believe in what you REALLY want. Find your real dreams and be open minded, otherwise you might miss them: Sometimes the things you really dream about are already there and you are simply not aware of them.
I came across a nice text, I just have to share: I found it at Natasha’s blog as the entry “Midnight thoughts”:
It’s become such a rarity nowadays to find somebody to fall in love with and stay in love with. People seem to forget how beautiful it is to grow old with someone, to build and witness someone’s progression and to conquer obstacles as a TEAM instead of facing them alone. I guess it’s safe to say that there’s not enough thrill in that for them. There’s no thrill in comfortability and knowing someone like the back of your hand. I guess that’s why you can say I’m an old soul. I don’t need to go out all the time and switch people up every other week to fulfill my boredom with temporary happiness. I always wanted something real, someone so GENUINE that they are worth lasting a lifetime with. Someone who’s willing to invest the time and effort that’s needed to win, instead of forfeiting when “there’s no coming back.” I understand it’s nearly impossible nowadays to count on someone with all your heart and soul. It’s more dangerous, if anything, but I guess that’s why you can count me as one of the rare ones. I’m not in it for a reason, season or lifetime. I’m in it for all three!
So true… But I think not only love faces this “problem” of modern society, even simple friendships are… It seem so many people befriend someone having the same hobby or interest, but once this hobby/interest changes, they just change their friends with them. A sad development, isn’t it?
